Local Move
2 movers = $160/hr
3 movers = $190/hr
4 movers = $220/hr
addtl. mover = +$30/hr
Box truck = $140-250+ flat rate (dependent on distance)
A local move is defined as any move within 40 miles from your First Location.
Long Distance / Out of State Move
~$1,500-4000+ flat rate (dependent on distance)
A long distance move is defined as any move over 40 miles from your First Location.
Packing
Supplies = $10-250+ variable rate (dependent on what/how many supplies used)
Same as our Local Move rate + cost of supplies
Supplies include small, medium, large, extra-large, and other specific boxes (wardrobe, dish boxes, etc.), tape, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, chinaware foam, etc.
Loading/Unloading
Same as our Local Move rate.
In-House
Same as our Local Move rate.

When is payment due and how can I pay?
Payment is due at the end of the move, once everything is completed. We accept:
- card
- check
- cash
- Zelle
- Venmo
- PayPal
- Cryptocurrency (BTC, ETH only)
- and other forms.
No payment is required upfront unless you’re booking a long-distance move or requesting packing services in advance.
Do you charge a cancellation or rescheduling fee?
No.
Customers may cancel or reschedule appointments without any fees.
Do you offer free estimates or on-site walkthroughs?
Yes.
Prime Packers LLC offers free estimates and on-site visits to assess your moving needs effectively.
Are your prices different on weekends or holidays?
We don’t charge extra for weekends, but holiday rates may be slightly higher due to crew availability. Be sure to ask in advance if your move falls on a major holiday.
Do you require a deposit to book?
For most local moves, no deposit is required—just a confirmation. For long-distance or larger commercial moves, we may request a $100–$250 deposit to secure your spot on the schedule.
What should I do to help keep costs low on moving day?
Great question! Since we charge by the hour for local moves, being organized and ready can really help reduce your total cost. Here are several ways to make your move faster and more efficient:
✅ Before We Arrive:
- Pack everything ahead of time — Have boxes sealed and ready to go.
- Label boxes clearly — Mark each box with the room it belongs to and note if it’s fragile.
- Disassemble big furniture — Beds, tables, etc. If you can take them apart early, it saves time.
- Group items by room — Stack boxes from the same room together.
- Clear paths — Make sure walkways, hallways, and driveways are easy to access.
- Reserve elevators or parking — If needed, arrange this with your building in advance.
✅ On Moving Day:
- Be available — Answer questions quickly and let us know where things go.
- Keep kids and pets out of the way — This keeps everyone safe and avoids delays.
- Let us know about heavy or fragile items — So we can prep properly.
✅ Payment:
- Have payment ready — We accept all forms of payment at the end of the move.
